E - TicketE - Ticket
Electronic ticket:is a ticket in electronic form issued by email or fax. Like the other common air-ticket, it includes all information pertaining to the usage of carriage services of Vietnam Airlines and it’s valuable instead of paper ticket. Electronic ticket (E-ticket) has all information as shown in the paper ticket of Vietnam Airline and this firm takes the responsibility to store the E-ticket data base and guarantees smooth travel for passengers.
For traditional paper ticket, passenger must have your own ticket(s) with the valid flight coupon for a specific flight.
For eTicket, passenger should only bring a printed copy of eTicket Receipt of your own eTicket while traveling.
Advantages of E-ticket to passengers
- More secure because you can avoid risks of lost, torn, crushed or crumpled, folded, dirty ticket.
- Faster check-in process. You don’t need to present at the airport to make check-in process. Instead, you can provide your information (name, itinerary, date) to Vietnam Airline, so the process is successful and isn’t time consuming.
- Easier for Vietnam airline staffs to make changes to E-ticket upon required because ticket information retrieval is faster and more precisely.
- More convinient transaction between the airline and passengers when E-ticket will be sold and issued via the Internet.
The “Itinerary/Receipt” is a printed sheet of paper providing basic information of passenger’s journey in order to help passenger precisely identifying transportation services. The “Itinerary/Receipt” does not have legal status as that of paper ticket.

The refund/change of the E-ticket can only be done if your fare conditions allow to refund and/or change. The fee for changing itinerary will be applied depending on your detail fare condition.
